Do you have a story to tell?
TxSGS is seeking articles for the December 2017 issue of our journal Stirpes.
The Theme
“Going Home” is the focus of the December issue.
Have you visited your family’s ancient homeland, the locations in which they established their earliest American roots, or traced their migration route? Perhaps you have visited a battleground where your ancestor fought or stood on the farm they carved from wilderness.
Your experiences would make an interesting addition to the December 2017 Stirpes.
Submission Details
The submission deadline for this issue is October 15, 2017.
For more information about formatting and length, please see our Stirpes Submissions Guidelines.

Would love to present “Black Everett Families of Morris County.” Unfortunately, I am presenting at the LDS 2017 conference at ASU on the same days. “Black Everett Families of North Carolina, Arkansas and Texas”
I have researched this family since 1999. Maybe I can come to your next conference. Please see Everett generations Newsletter on the internet, “African American Everetts” by Arlene Everett. Please feel free to contact me.
Arlene: the conference committee typically opens the call for presentations in the early spring. We’d be happy to see you submit your presentation proposal for 2018. Thanks!
