September 2019 Stirpes Released

TxSGS’s latest issue of Stirpes, The Journal of the Texas State Genealogical Society, went out this month to all TxSGS members and subscribing libraries.

With an emphasis on Ethnic Roots, the September 2019 issue of Stirpes is packed with articles that address some of the specific difficulties encountered when researching African American, Native American, Mexican, Swedish, Norwegian, and German ancestors.

In addition to ethnic research, this issue includes the second part of Debbie Parker Wayne’s review of DNA Painter, a review of Kenyatta Berry’s The Family Tree Tool Kit by Lisa Reed, and more.
