The Midland Genealogy Society is located in Midland and meets at the Midland Centennial Library (2503 W Loop 250 N). Website is quite out of date but the Facebook account it active.

San Angelo Genealogical and Historical Society (TxSGS Partner Society)

The mission of the San Angelo Genealogical and Historical Society is to support Concho Valley genealogists in their pursuit of their ancestry by: conducting educational activities promoting interest in genealogical and historical research; collecting and preserving documents pertaining to the history of West Texas; supporting the repository and genealogy library; The West Texas Collection; at ASU through donations of genealogical and historical materials. Membership benefits include a subscription to the SAGHS journal; access to webinars in the member’s only section on the SAGHS website; full name index to the Stalkin’ Kin; unclaimed marriage license database; and more.
