Genealogical Society of Kendall County 3th Annual Hill County Family History Seminar Featuring Dr. Michael Lacopo

Dr. Michael Lacopo was born and raised in northern Indiana. He started doing genealogical research as a hobby in 1980 to verify family stories he had always heard. In 1991 Michael completed his doctorate in veterinary medicine. In 2013, he retired from his medical career to pursue genealogical research as a full-time profession. Michael has contributed to numerous periodicals and is a popular and respected speaker both nationally and internationally. His interests and strengths include Mennonite and European research.
