San Antonio has a variety of facilities to research your ancestors. Two include the San Antonio Genealogical & Historical Society Library and the Texana/Genealogy Department of the San Antonio Central Library.

As the city of San Antonio celebrates its 300th anniversary this year, it is the perfect venue for TxSGS to host its annual Family History Conference. San Antonio’s rich history as a crossroads of the southwest makes it the perfect spot for genealogists, historians, and hobbyists to share their genealogy passions, learn new research techniques, and explore the fascinating tapestry of history represented by San Antonio. Registrants with special needs requirements as outlined in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) must notify TxSGS in writing of their special needs by October 1, 2018.
Anyone requiring a wheelchair or scooter must make arrangements to bring or rent one. Information on scooter and wheelchair rental will be available soon.
