TIGR 2025 FAQs

You can create an account at https://txsgs.z2systems.com/np/clients/txsgs/login.jsp. Click on “Create Account” and enter your information. Please leave “Company Name” blank unless you are creating an account for a society, library, or other organization.

Otherwise, you can create an account when you register for the conference.

Just click on the “x” in the upper right corner of the box to dismiss this login prompt. Fill in the boxes on the registration form to create a TxSGS account. Please leave “Company Name” blank.

Under username and password boxes, you’ll see “Forgot your password?” Enter your email address in the box and click “Recover Account.” The TxSGS online membership system will send you an email with a link to create a new user name and password.

When you log into your TxSGS account, you’ll see a window like this.

Click “Join Now” and follow the prompts or click on “What would you like to do?”, select “My membership,” and follow the prompts.

Early Bird registration ends at midnight, Central Time, April 30, 2025.

The member discount ends at midnight, Central Time, June 6, 2025.

If you are a current TxSGS member, log into your account after you like on the registration link at https://www.txsgs.org/tigr-2025-registration/.

You will automatically receive the membership discount; the early bird or any other applicable discount appears on the summary at the end of the registration process.

Yes, just email registrar@txsgs.org within seven days of registration.

Click on the box labeled “What would you like to do?” and select “TIGR 2025 Registration.” Follow the prompts to complete your registration.

Yes, but you’ll need to provide contact information for each person including a unique email address. Each registrant will be emailed a unique access link to the TIGR 2025 course for which they are registered. Please note that if you register multiple persons before the Early Bird Deadline of April 30, 2025, you will only receive one Early Bird Discount per registration, not per person. To receive an Early Bird Discount for each person you are registering, register them one at a time.

No; member discounts are for individual or household members of TxSGS, not organizations.

Yes. Please note that deferred payment (labeled “Pay Later”) is for those who wish to mail in a check. If payment isn’t received by TxSGS within 14 days of registration, the registration is subject to cancellation. Payment must be mailed within two (2) days of registration. If your payments it not received within 14 days of registration, the registration is subject to cancellation. Please be aware that it can take up to two weeks for mail to reach us; don’t delay in placing your check in the mail. All payments must be received no later than June 6, 2025.

Yes; however, each person who accesses a TIGR 2025 course must be registered separately.

Yes. All registrations must be completed by midnight June 6, 2025. Registration closes at midnight Central Time on June 6, 2025. All payments must be received by June 6, 2023.

Cancellation requests received on or before May 23, 2025, will receive a refund less $75 of the total purchase price to cover administrative costs. No refunds will be issued after May 23, 2025. Cancellation requests must be made in writing via email to tigr@txsgs.org or registrar@txsgs.org.

If you are unable to register because the course you want is full, you may join the waiting list. You will be notified if space becomes available.

The deferred payment (labeled “Pay Later”) option is provided for those who prefer to mail a check for payment. Payment should be mailed within two (2) days following registration. If TxSGS has not received your payment within 14 days of registration, it is subject to cancellation. All payments must be received by June 6, 2025.

You may choose credit card, echeck, or Paypal. Credit cards accepted are American Express, Discover, Master Card, and Visa.

If you wish to pay your registration fee by mailing a check, select “Pay Later” and place your check in the mail within 48 hours. If payment isn’t received by TxSGS within 14 days of registration, the registration is subject to cancellation. You will not receive access to a TIGR 2025 course until your registration fee has been received. All payments must be received by June 6, 2025.

If the coordinators have provided a list of recommended books for their course, it will be included in each “Course Summary.”

Yes; some courses have prerequisites. If a course has prerequisites, this information is included in the “Course Summary” for each course.

A link to the digital syllabus will be emailed to you the week before TIGR 2025 begins. You can also download the syllabus from the student Dropbox that will be created for your course.

You may not share the syllabus as the entire contents are protected by copyright. You may print one copy of the syllabus for personal use.

No; registration is not transferable.

Yes. There will be a general TIGR 2025 meeting room available during lunch each day for attendees to get together and chat. A link to this meeting room will be included in your syllabus and student Dropbox folder.

Select the number of persons you wish to register, then enter their names and email addresses. Members registered through a Partner Society do not receive a member discount.

Also, societies do not receive a member discount to TIGR 2025, even if the persons your society is registering are members of TxSGS.

Yes! Your society can log in to the TxSGS library account and access TIGR 2025 registration from the drop-down menu labeled “What would you like to do?”. Select the number of persons you wish to register, then enter their names and email addresses.

No. Access to TIGR 2025 recordings is limited to the person registered for TIGR 2025. Registrants will have access to recordings from the course they are registered for two (2) weeks following TIGR 2025. Links will be provided in the Student Dropbox folder for each course.

Yes. Each lecture will be recorded or pre-recorded. Details will be provided in the syllabus for each course. Access links will be provided in the Student Dropbox folder for each course. Course registrants will have access to the course for which they are registered for two (2) weeks following the end of TIGR 2025.

Closed Captioning will be available during TIGR 2025. Details about using this will be provided during orientation for each course on Monday, June 16, 2025.

TIGR 2025 courses will use Zoom for course participation and other activities announced for the week. Details for each event will be included in the course syllabus and in the Student Dropbox folder for each course.

No; access to recordings is limited to streaming only due to copyright and contract restrictions.

No; due to copyright limitations you are not authorized to capture the recorded lectures in any form without permission of the instructor.

A week before TIGR 2025 begins, a link will be emailed to the email address you used when you registered. This will come from the email address tigr@txsgs.org. Watch for this email. If you don’t receive it, check your spam folder. If you still don’t find it, contact TIGR 2023 registrar at registrar@txsgs.org.

No. Your registration allows only you to view the TIGR 2025 course you are attending.
