Rampy - Henry Rampy - Brief Bio



Henry Rampy migrated to Texas not later than 1847, possibly earlier, when he was on the tax roll in Henderson County. He received a 3rd class headright grant, Mercer's Colony, Houston 3rd Class, no. 000321, TXGLO, Austin, Texas. In 1848 he was named to a Road Commission in Anderson County, Texas. He died in 1866 and his estate was settled by District Court litigation, naming his children.
