Tipton - Albert Gallatin Tipton and Mary Elizabeth Dotson - Brief bio

Albert Gallatin Tipton was a Mason and served in the Civil War as a 2nd lieutenant in the 10th Brigade. He was a farmer and was interested in minerals. He moved his family to Texas from Walker County, Georgia, in 1850. He settled in Lone Star, Cherokee County, Texas.
