Isham White emigrated to the Republic of Texas in 1838 or 1839 as a married man. Fayette County Probate Minutes in 1850 list the following heirs: 
William C. White of Mississippi; 
Elizabeth White, daughter of James White, deceased; 
McCree White of Paseo del Norte; 
Benjamin White of Lavaca County, Texas; 
Martha Simms, wife of Isam Simms of Lavaca County, Texas; 
Harriet Wallace, wife of James Wallace of Bastrop County, Texas; 
George W. White of Travis County, Texas; 
Charles White; 
Louisa Gillum, wife of Richard Gillum; 
Richard White; 
Parmelia White; 
Gustaven White; and 
Jane White of Fayette County, Texas.
