Dean - Edward Maxwell Dean - Brief bio



According to data about First Citizens of Texas in "Stopes" periodical, the Deans came to Texas in 1833. The book "Red River County, Texas, First Settlers" lists Edward as emigrating on 1 December 1834 to the County. He was the fourth person to file for a land grand and was awarded one league and one labor of land (4605.6 acres) located between Clarksville and Detroit.
