Based on absence from 1887 Anderson County Tax Roll, and (1) deed from A. J. Rampy and wife Nancy Rampy to J. H. Rampy, dated 22 Mar 1888 [ACDR, Vol 40, Pp. 585 & 586], wherein A. J. Rampy sold his undivided interest in the Mary Rampy Homestead, a part of the Henry Rampy Survey, described as "... lying west of the neighborhood road running from the B. W. Jackson Place to Concord church, said Mary Rampy Homestead being situated between the A. J. Rampy and J H Rampy interest ...." and (2) deed from A. J. Rampy et al to A. B. Jenkins, dated 11 Dec 1888 (ACDR, Vol. 50, Pp. 258-260), wherein they sold a tract in the SE corner of the Henry Rampy Survey, and "... a strip of land off of the Mary Rampy Homestead tract about one hundred yards wide at the South end, and about fifty wide at the North end and being all of said tract of land lying est of the road running from the B. W. Jackson farm to Concord Church, containing Ten acres...." |
